Discounts for teachers
Tiny Toes Toy Library in York, PA gives a 10% discount for teachers. When my daughter was married in 2006, Charm City Cakes in Baltimore ("Ace of Cakes" on Food Network) gave us a discount because we're both teachers.

Origins Gaming Fair in
Origins Gaming Fair in Columbus Ohio offers the convention badge free to teachers. The convention then has a teacher "track" of activities geered toward using games in the classroom. Along with the teacher track, they ask the vendors to discount to teachers that attend the convention. A list of vendors and their discounts is handed to each teacher when they pick up their badge. It is really a nice convention. : )
