Solving Book Access Problems
I am a former urban teacher and literacy coach who has started a new nonprofit, BookMentors, which uses micropatronage to supply teachers and students in high-needs schools with books. BookMentors also enables readers, teachers, administrators, librarians, writers, and publishers to connect and share information about children's and YA literature. Our website and book donation service launches in June. Currently, BookMentors has a webpage where you can learn more about the project and leave contact info for the launch: www.bookmentors.org
