What are your goals / why are you pursuing an advanced degree? Where do you live? I taught for several years in Walden University's fully online program, specifically, the Integrating Technology into Instruction (MS-ITC) specialization. It was good when I taught there and has only improved in recent years. The curriculum is good, the support is excellent, the instructional staff are superb too. Face to face, Pepperdine's program is considered one of the best in the country, I think. Generally speaking, if you have a top-rated university near you, and they offer a blended program, that can be a very attractive option. You get the benefit of an established institution (and all the prestige that comes with it) and the convenience of attending online (at least partially.) When you get your degree from an established "brick and mortar" school, no one asks you if it was online or blended - you just have a degree from that school. Hope this helps, -kj- Sign in to vote! Posted 5/31/2014 8:06am Dan CallahanProfessional Learning Specialist, Edcamper, Graduate Professor I'm totally biased here, since I had a hand in designing the overall curriculum and teach a couple of the courses, but Antioch University New England has an Educational Technology concentration that's mostly online with one or two face to face courses during the summer. It's primarily focused on the use of rich pedagogy and how to use technology to enhance it. http://www.antiochne.edu/teacher-education/med-working-teachers/educatio...
