Obstacles to change

From discussions with colleagues and personal experience, I've discerned at least five significant obstacles to real change in their instruction. In short, the expectations of students and parents for a traditional instructional model, a lack of time, a lack of IT support, the challenge of re-learning to teach, and discomfort with the zealousness of ed tech evangelists are five major obstacles. What do you make of this? How are real are these obstacles? Are there others?
