Hi there! For those in the area, there's an "EdCamp" unconference being held at the University of Pennsylvania the weekend of May 21st, 2011- it is free to attend. You can go here for more information: http://www.edcampphilly.org/ ISTE is also coming to Philly in June! I hope there will be a bunch of Edutopia people there-maybe we can do a "tweetup/meet up"- I would be happy to organize if there is some interest!

Hi Whitney -

Unfortunately our staff won't be able to make it out to EdCamp Philly this year. Is Mary Beth running it? We'd be happy to send a raffle prize and some promotional material your way though!

Also, I'm in the midst of planning some exciting events for ISTE. I'll definitely keep you in the loop. I should have everything finalized (fingers crossed) by early next week.

Hi Whitney -

We just finalized details last week -- we're partnering with some people to put on a very fun meetup during ISTE 11.

This meetup will have a cash and carry bar and free hors d'ouevres (including Philly cheesesteaks!). Come early -- The first 100 attendees will receive a special goodie bag! There will also be raffles and games for prizes.
