Celly, a free classroom management tool.
Hi everyone!
I wanted to let you know about Celly group texting. Celly can be used for lots of things, but three use cases that are pertinent to this audience is Celly's utility in schools. Mainly, with Celly group texting a teacher can setup a private and secure class group, and use this message group to send alerts, take polls, facilitate discussions, and gather student feedback. To be sure, Celly does not require that a student or teacher show their phone #, thus Celly is great for a school setting. Celly works from any mobile phone, and requires no software installations, making it easily accessible for all.

I always find it so difficult to get their attentions at times, that I think this will definitely get them to listen. They already like being on theit cell phones-why not use it for better purposes?!! Great idea, thanks!

Oh wow this is a really interesting concept. Like it's been said, kids are already on their cells so much! I really like that you can use it through a phone or online phone. Also that you can send and receive group messages, polls, and alerts using SMS text messaging, email, or the Celly website.
Cool!
What a great idea! I'm all signed up and will try to incorporate this into the next class I teach!
