I have heard students complain that there are students that come to class and do not want to learn. The students that do want to learn suffer because of the interruptions and laziness of those students. I am a battling the answer. As a teacher my goal is to teach a lesson that the class understands and learns at 100% percentile. Inside the classroom ever teacher will have to address those students that are just not wanting to try. Do you separate the higher achievers and isolate the class? Personally I say try different sitting arrangements. Do three week evaluation and conferences for students that gain your concern. What would you do?
