This past weekend the drama education field lost a bold visionary, and an incredibly gifted teacher, Dorothy Heathcote. If you have not read the piece yet, take a moment to look at the obituary below. If you are a drama teacher, and have yet to come across the work of Dorothy Heathcote, I encourage you to look into this amazing woman. Happy Drama, J. Hi J. Casey,

What a powerful teacher. Dorothy impacted many lives in the educational field and globally. Thanks for sharing her life with others.

Today, I have discovered edutopia and was so happy to see that there are others excited about Dorothy's work! I am in a classroom as a lone ranger teacher for the first time and I am trying to figure out to do the magic of drama in education without the team that I always had when I was a visiting teacher. Maybe you can point to some solutions for me.
