I live 8 long blocks from the National Gallery of Art. It is one of my favorite buildings and one of the reasons that I love living in the city of Washington. I wanted to share the link with you as you can http://www.nga.gov/education/index.shtm see so many resources . There are some classroom loans and there is a workshop that they have that is exciting, excellent and provides many resources for your classroom use. My principal , to encourage children to love art, would have the PTA purchase prints which children could take home on loan for a period of time. We were also able to invite speakers to the school, but you can Skype into the museum. Bonnie Bracey Sutton
