Classcraft ( is a great resource if you're looking for ideas about gamification and ed-tech in the classroom. It's a browser-based role-playing game that teachers and students play together in the classroom over any lesson plan, grade level, or subject, and it fosters teamwork and engagement. Students create a character (a mage, warrior, or healer) and get rewarded for positive behavior and performance. Those rewards translate into their in-game progression and have a positive effect on their actual grades because they're learning and participating. There are also consequences for negative behavior. When students level up in the game, they can learn powers that have real benefits, like extra time for an exam, etc.

It's very customizable, fun, and easy to use; you don't need to know about role-playing games or be tech-savvy to use it. It's free right now to use or test out. I'd be happy to answer any questions about it!
