Grants for art supplies
I am trying to organize an empty bowls night for my school. I am looking for a grant to fund the purchase of the clay. Any thoughts?

recycling for teachers
Many teachers are looking for minimal items for projects. There are 700 homes in the HOA that I live in now, and 500 homes at the one I lived in before. Homeowner's Assocations near your schools would be glad to help you and your school by recycling cans, so you can turn it in to cash and even bringing in the specific items you need. Most HOA's have newsletters. We had an ongoing recycling project for our school. Many single people, people with no kids, and seniors live in our homes and would be glad to help teachers.
We also saved our butter containers for Meals on Wheels, and the tops of soda cans for the Ronald McDonald House, and did Boxtops For Education.
We also held a yearly garage sale for the teachers so they could purchase school supplies for less fortunate children in the fall.
Check out the Airborne
Check out the Airborne website. She was a teacher that created the supplement to fight off colds, etc... Well she has created a grant program just for teachers of art and music.

How to Get a Grant for MAT in Reading
I a Language Art teacher who is married and a mother of two living in CT. ALL of our money goes to household expenses but I must complete my Master's in order to retain my teaching certificate (CT State Law). After 18 wonderful years of teaching I want to be a teacher forever--and improve my own education and skills as well. Does anyone know of a place where I can find out about grants/fellowships? Several places on the net look promising until they want cash in order to divuldge their information. Thanks! :)
Achievement gap grants and parent groups
Hello:
I am a volunteer with a newly formed parent support group in a suburban district in Michigan. We are looking for grants that would fund a "Saturday" school for elementary, middle and high school students in math.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!
Thank You
Grant for theater
I am 39 years old, have taught theater for 10 years, am an equity member AND I am a single mother with two children. I have an opportunity to finish both my BA and my MFA in Europe. However, because of bad credit and because the studies are in Europe, I can not seem to find a student loan or a grant or a benefactor to complete my education. I want to continue to teach on a college/conservatory level. Without an MFA I can not do this. Getting a BA/ MFA in this country will take me 5 years and $200,000. It will take me 2 years and $100,000 in Europe (that includes taking my children!) Can anyone help?
Mother of an honor student who needs grants
My son Jeremy is a very bright student, involved in multi-sports, Clubs, and intra-murals. He is an Honor Student with hopes of going to a Military Academy during his high-school years.
Because of my ignorance to the application process and deadlines, we are to late for most grants. The cost of this school is close to $30,000 a year, but 96% of their graduates walk away with a 4-year full scholarship. In short, we'd be paying for his cllege now instead of four years from now.
Please, if you know of any grants, scholarships, private investors, etc., e-mail me at;
heavenlydmom@yahoo.com.
Forever Grateful,
Malina D Savage
