Technology Exploratory Teacher

I would like find funding for the purchase of Autodesk's 3D-Max software for a lab of 30 machines to teach the students 3-D modeling and animation. I have seen it work at other schools with the same age group.
The kids were excited to come to that class and their creativity and productivity was astounding. The problem solving was mostly non-linear thinking, which I think schools should do more of.

Aloha from Kauai!
My son's Second Grade class at King Kaumualii Elementary School in Hanamaulu, Kauai still has those dinosaur monitors that take up alot of desk space. He has 22 other friends that use the computers on a daily basis. What a great present it would be for them to receive 7 flat screen monitors before the year ends. If any of our worldwide 'ohana (family) are upgrading monitors during this holiday season, we would like for you to consider donating your old one to our school. I may be reached via email at tkamorin@gmail.com, or by snail mail at PO Box 162,Hanamaulu, HI 96715. Learn more about King Kaumaulii at: http://www.kaumualii.k12.hi.us/king.html Mahalo (Thank You)!

obesity

I am a Dr Sears L.E.A.N. coach and am looking for grant money to offer this well-being, health and nutrition program to parents of school age children in an attempt to reach a diverse population who might not be able to otherwise finance it. I have libraries, YMCAs and other avenues for recruiting candidates but am hoping to fund it initially with grant money. Any thoughts? Live in Atlanta. Thanks. Kat
