George Lucas is a visionary. He does believe that a child with a disability should not stop learning because he has a disability. I am a special education teacher and sometimes I wonder how I can keep going then a ray of hope appears. Sometimes I just don't have the means to teach a student the way they need to be taught. Now with budget cuts and lower teachers salaries I don't see how we can survive. My love for teaching does not pay my bills or get me computers and software for my classroom. I am hoping this site will give me a new perspective on looking at situations.I do the Community Based Learning Program and I teach all of the Access classes. This means that I have to stay in tune with community as well as learn how to teach all 4 English's, Math 1, 2, 3 and 4., all the histories and sciences. I would not have made it this far without the aid of the internet. I think it is time for me to learn to work smarter not harder.
