If you've not already done so, I hope you'll take a moment to check out our new online-community groups. There have been many, many fantastic discussions taking root, with some strong connections being forged -- and this is only just the beginning! We have a couple of helpful new features coming soon, which should make it easier to connect with others:
1) Starting next week, we'll be rolling out some customizable email alerts. These will send a notification to you via email when there's activity going on in the community that is of interest. The first alerts will send a short text email when someone else has sent you a private message using Edutopia's private messaging system.
2) In a couple more weeks, we'll be able to support discussion alerts. These will let you know when there's a new comment in a thread that interests you.
Of course, all of these alerts are completely customizable, and you may turn them off and on again at any time.

Private message alerts live for Edutopia community members
Wanted to let you know that the system has been updated to send you an email when another Edutopia member sends you a private message. These alerts are customizable; if you do not wish to receive a private message alert, log in to your Edutopia account, select Messages, and click the link that says, "Change your private message notification setting."
