I am a proponent of social-emotional learning in young children. I developed this interest from teaching my son with PDD (Pervasive Developmental Disability) about emotions. It occured to me that when you give a person a handshake, you are not thinking if he scored an A in physics but if he treated you warmly. It occured to me that the best moments in life are created when you connect with people.
With this idea in mind and the fact that I successfully taught my son facial expressions and emotions when he was younger using a special patent-pending toy I created, I launched my kickstarter.
I think this doll that I created which can display emotions can teach a lot to our young chidlren. What do you think?
