this is great!

I love the Phases of the Moon video. This is an excellent example of a student project that is "right out of the textbooks" with respect to an elementary school science lesson. But, since it's video and the students did it, other children will watch it--and learn from it!

My 5th grade students last year loved putting together PowerPoint presentations about the U.S. State that they had researched for their State Report. It wasn't required, but almost everyone wanted to prepare and share their presentation with the class. The students were engaged in these lessons!
