Craig Brandenburg

National Advisory Council member Craig Brandenburg is a media-production instructor at YES Prep North Central, in Houston. Brandenburg graduated from Miami University and joined Teach for America in 2001, working as a fifth-grade reading teacher at a Houston elementary school.
In his four years at YES Prep, he's taught math, science, and technology in grades 6-10. In 2004, he created a video-production class, out of which evolved iBlazer Studios, a small business where students produce videos for clients in their community and across the country. The students also run regular video-production workshops in which they teach the adults in their community how to shoot and edit their own video pieces.

Mr.Brandenburg
So Mr. Bandenburg was my fifth grade teacher actually and I'm now a sophmore in high school.I attented Garcia Elementary, and he transfered to YES Prep the following year. I loved his class, although we only had three other teachers. I still remember him after all this time, he was an incredible teacher. He is truelt an awesome teacher but most importantly an awesome person. One of my favorite teachers of all time.
