I agree that this is an inspirational teacher and format. I have been teaching a long time and I am definitely a ‘digital immigrant’. But, when I read articles like this, it starts to give me the courage to ‘change’ and do what’s better for kids and not what’s easier for me. As a resource teacher, I spend a tremendous amount of time teaching the basic skills; but I think that I will branch out and see if I can collaborate with a regular educator for implementing multimedia projects.
I must also comment on how Marco lets go of the reins and has this projects very student driven. His 4 ‘p’s’ definitely promote ownership of both the process and the content. I love it!
