I had the pleasure of meeting Marco and 4 of his awesome students, and watch them in action as they shot the Building Learning Communities conference (BLC07) in Boston in July this year. They really are an amazing bunch of kids - Consuela, Miguel, Rosa and Isaac were everywhere chatting with people, interacting with educators, and capturing on film and camera every notable, and not-so-notable, moment of the conference.
Their superb podcasts and videos documented the conference in such a unique way, and demonstrated in such a "real" fashion, the results of empowering students to become "producers" of information, and digital stories that demonstrate their learning, rather than passive "consumers" of knowledge and information.

Way to go, Marco!
