I enjoyed reading this article. I went to Uganda in the summer of 2007 to work in several differet classrooms. Most of the time I was teaching under a mango tree. I gave the schools a suitcase full of childrens books. The children were crying thet were so happy to see a book. Students weretelling me this was the first time they saw a book and for it was the first time they were able to keep a book.
I could never put into words how happy the students were to see a book. I hope studets all over Uganda will be able to take part in this great library!!!
