Believe it or not, the Alabama legislature is seriously considering the passage of an anti-harassment bill, along with an anti-student suicide bill (due to harassment, violence, or threats of violence). The bill is being pushed by the Equality Fund of Alabama, a political action committee, and by the Alabama Education Association. The bill includes, among other elements, the words "sexual orientation."
