One thing that many people forget to think about that would be really easy for many people is to think about waste when they do their grocery shopping. For example, last week the strawberries at the store were packaged in a #6 package which I cannot recycle, so I didn't buy them. So many kids now are bringing lunchables for their lunches. Sure, they are easy, but just think about the percentage of trash compared to the percentage of food value. I think that this would be a fairly simple change of mind that could help our planet.
