Hi Everyone,

I'm Nancy Anderson, Chair for a national group called Educators with Disabilities (EDC).

First of all,Ms. Wills did a great job on pulling this article together. It's so great to see all of these success stories of educators with disabilities. You are all amazing and very special people.

I like to share with you our website dedicated to teachers with disabiliities, and I would love for each of you visit it, and become a member. Some of you may know about this group, some not. We have been a very active group for over 12 years. Our membership and services are growing every year.

EDC stems out of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). We host our annual general and board meetings at the CEC convention every year. And this year (April 2008) we will have great presentation/session with a panel of teachers with disabilities.

If you are interested in learning more about EDC or about the CEC convention please visit the CEC website at http://www.cec.sped.org , click on Caucuses, then EDC.

I welcome comments and inquiries at nanders7@gmu.edu
