Preschool has a place in children's education, but I don't feel that it should be mandatory. If it is a problem for students entering Kindergarten or First grade, perhaps we need to restructure school entrance ages, setting a minimum and maximum age for children to enter school. Your article said that Wyoming doesn't have pubically funded preschool (true), but there are many private preschools and parochial preschools. In Wyoming, Kindergarten is offered in schools, both public and private, but it is not required yet. Let children be children and develop as their own nature dictates, but within resonable parameters. i work in a parochial school, and have worked in public schools.
