Regular exercise and physical education class would help decrease childhood obesity greatly. It is tough though since we all know the first things to be cut in a school is physical education and specials classes.

The food rewards at schools are crazy as well. Doughnuts, juice, pizza, cupcakes, and candy parties. Get good grades here's a doughnut, end of the trimester here's some pizza. What about an extra recess or an outside game of soccer etc.

This isn't just the school's fault though, what ever happened to playing outside with neighborhood friends without it being planned by parents three months in advance?

The computers, video games, and tv need to be turned off too. We all know these are overplayed.
