in my opinion I think that exit level testing is the most dumbest idea in the whole wide world, reasoning being is that not all students get the same education requirements in most schools, for example I switched high school my senior year and I had to pretty much start my whole entire high career over again because enough though it is a public school teachers actually taught me something. So basically some students are taking an exit level test with no knowledge of anything that might be on the test. so see yeah you can blame it on the teachers and you can blame it on the school district, and the list keeps going. And if students don't learn what they need to learn then of course then they aren't going to pass the test. What more do you need people!!! I am for one that didn't pass my exit level testing and I had to get my GPA and I felt really stupid because I didn't get to graduate with my class because I didn't get the education that I needed so in my best opinion if private school kids don't have the same standards as public then exit level test shouldn't even be aloud! I don't agree with this testing because it makes students feel like that they didn't achieve anything in the past years of there lives I am for one that didn't think so. So I am just saying think of your child not moving on and getting held back and not being able to go to college until they either get there GPA or waiting on there high school diploma take your pick but making a child feel that they are stupid is not really the answer. thank you
