I'm actually a developer for a major telecommunication company where most of my time is focused on eLearning. My job more or less is creating 3D Simulations and gearing them towards our eLearning curriculum. Just think "The Sims" game geared towards the company that you currently work for and you've pretty much got what I do. This article helped me because I have never considered this form of learning being used in a school environment.
