i learned that comic book authors sometimes creat a picture and then make the words be the opposite. i think they do this to make the reader stop and think about what their tryinig to say. i thought about the book and i dont remember him using that technique in american born chinese. i also learned that the mind believes the picture more than the words. this relates to homo faber becawse its about why and how we creat. here the author is using homo faber to send a specific massage.
