Funding for free software in education

Submitted by White Knight Society (not verified) on April 29, 2008 - 18:14.

We are looking for a funding source to help us promote the teaching of free software in elementary and secondary schools. The White Knight Society is a 501(c)3 organization that promotes the teaching of non-proprietary free software in schools. Free software defends our freedoms because it permits students to learn how the software works and what it actually does. All the software installed and taught by a school should be available for the students to study, copy, alter and redistribute further. Our website is www.whiteknightsociety.org. If anyone knows of an organization or individual that would be interested in helping us, please let us know.
