Geo-Literacy: Using Technology to Forge New Ground
Students use visual learning and communication tools to build an in-depth understanding of geography, geology, and local history.

I hope that others interested in learning will adapt the techniques in this interesting article and apply them to curricula across the board.
Visuals are part of studying history as well as geography. And what is geometry without its visual component.

Students need to learn how to construct visuals, but they also need to learn how to read them for
authenticity and correctness.

We live in a world where visuals are used to display information -- sometimes visuals are used to distort and misinform. Students need to learn how to evaluate the real from the chaff.
