As a first year teacher I believe that setting up a classroom routine is incredible important. In every classroom I have been in morning meeting has been part of the daily routine, along with a discussion about the day’s schedule. It is important for students to take an active roll in their education and this includes knowing "what comes next"
I like the idea of responsive classroom training. I know of a few teachers in my school who run their classrooms according to their training. I enjoy learning about new strategies to use in my classroom. The idea of making students responsible for their own actions and learning is something that I believe all teachers should take part in. I have not attended training yet myself, but I would like to look into it. It seems that students truly benefit from learning in a responsive classroom.
