A school like this is why I chose to home school because of the opportunity to do what this charter school does and that's to make a connection between what is learned in school to the real world. I love the fact that these kids are capable of taking on such duties. It gives me hope when you can take such a child, allow them to "own" their projects, and let them run wild with it. No class is compartmentalized. They're all woven together and the children learn more than what can be read/taught through the text book.

I applaud schools that are project based.
