Cheryl Bracco, Principal

Since 2000, Cheryl Bracco has been principal at the McKinley Institute of Technology, a magnet middle school in Redwood City, California, where Citizen Schools's apprenticeship education program helps incorporate technology throughout the curriculum.
Prior to this, Bracco, who earned a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in administration from San Francisco State University, taught math and social studies for more than ten years. She is listed in the Who's Who of American Teachers and was named Teacher of the Year by the Parkway Parent-Teacher-Student Association in 1994.
