One more tool for teachers and students

I loved this post--very informative! I wanted to throw out one more great tool for collaboration. Teacherwebit.com is a blogging site that is so simple to use--and it allows for a classroom of blogs under one teacher account. I really like it because it is so easy! Thanks again for your wisdom :)

Great advice Eric! Learning how to collaborate with others, manage projects and communicate are valuable skills for students to learn.

If I may add to your list, a free site I developed is http://Enterthegroup.com which was designed to help students learn project management by giving them tools and advice on how to get organized and collaborate.

The site has tools to create virtual classrooms as well as student group projects and offers features like project outlines, tasks, message boards, blogs, instant message, email, polls and lots more.

Thanks,
Sal

Great post Eric,
I also wanted to share another student collaboration tool with you and the readers of Edutopia. My company GroupTable.

GroupTable is an online collaboration software, started by UCF students, created to help easily manage group projects, study groups and other groups looking to increase their productivity.

With group calendars, to-do lists, file sharing, discussion boards and more, Mashable, a leading technology news blog, had this to say "The entire makeup of the service is quite impressive. Powerful but not overwhelming."

I hope that you and others will take a look at it and let me know your feedback.

We're really starting to gain traction and have been receiving extremely positive feedback from educators and students alike.
