Recently I found such
Recently I found such wonderful piece of film showing just how talented Nhamboro is and how much the African community in Oxford has to offer. Funders take note - the Cowley Road Carnival thrives on artists like Nhamboro and they should be recognised financially for all the expertise they offer! If you are interested in exotic music, you can see it at http://abbmp3.com/
This was a great video of how
This was a great video of how a school system can integrate music into all aspects of the curriculum. I appreciate knowing that even in these desperate times of NCLB and budget cuts that the arts, and music in particular, programs are part of a schools core subjects. I also wish I had more software to use with my elementary music classes.
I really like what I ve seen.
I really like what I ve seen. I work with kids in pre-schhol and find integration classes - music+acions + language very useful. I often download music from http://abbmp3.com , but I m interested in software, too as Mario.
Music really helps for both learning and teaching. I usually take some melodies for my classes from the web and my students are satisfied. :) I will only add that "Music is all children. Music is hot cornbread. Music is the kindness one finds in a crayon drawing. Music is wood touching word. Imagine a doorbell made of light. Imagine the house that we would enter if we rang that bell." (Willam Parker)
Thank you!

I found this video to be
I found this video to be exhilarating. I believe music can add to all areas of learning. Learning to read or play music aids in math skills, reading skills, coordination, etc. to name a few. I am currently starting my son on piano lessons to help him further his learning. Does anyone have any information regarding a curriculum to use like this one?
Music software
Staff comment:
Hi Mario:
I'll have one of the Spiral Notebook bloggers make some recommendations on music software. Watch for a post in the next week or so at edutopia.org/spiralnotebook.
You might also consider contacting this school district and asking them what they are using.
Good luck!
Music
I am a music teacher (preK-6) and I have been trying to get more technology into the classroom. What kind of software is available. I loved what I saw in the video.
